“The Bird and Her Consort, the musical alter egos of Jonathan and Antonia Vassar, performed “Con Toda Palabra.” I’ve seen thousands of shows in my life, and I have never been stunned by a performance quite like that. Listening to Antonia Vassar sing that night is the closest I have ever come to seeing Edith Piaf.”
